Policies & Forms

Welcome to our Policies and Forms page! Here you’ll find everything you need to know about how we work—from appointment scheduling and cancellations to billing and privacy policies. We’ve also included any forms you might need before your visit. If you have questions or need help with anything, just let us know—we’re here to help.

Insurance

Washington Family Psychiatry operates as an out-of-network provider and does not participate in any insurance plans. After each appointment, you will receive a “superbill” that includes treatment and diagnosis codes, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. It is your responsibility to contact your insurer to understand your out-of-network benefits. Dr. Juneja charges a fee for documentation, letters, and correspondence related to schools (such as IEP/504 planning), as well as camp or school forms. Please allow a minimum of three business days for the completion of any requested letters or forms.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee. Example: If you have an appointment on a Monday, you must notify Dr. Juneja by the previous Thursday.

If you or your child are feeling unwell, the appointment can be easily converted to a telemedicine visit instead of being canceled.

Medication & Refills

All medication refill requests should be made during your scheduled appointment—please plan ahead. Dr. Juneja will ensure you have enough medication to last until your next visit. If you are running low and need a refill between appointments, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for the request to be processed.

Please note: If it has been more than three months since your last appointment, a follow-up visit will be required before a refill can be provided.

Confidentiality

Medical information and records will only be released with your written consent, except when required by law. Legal exceptions include, but are not limited to:

  • Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult
  • Situations where a patient is at imminent risk of self-harm or harm to other
  • When a patient makes a serious threat of physical violence toward another person

Communication & Emergencies

Dr. Juneja does not communicate via text or email for clinical matters. If you need to get in touch between appointments, please call (240) 428-4792 and leave a message with your name and phone number. Messages are typically returned within one business day (24 hours).

Dr. Juneja makes every effort to respond to voicemails, portal messages, and phone calls as promptly as possible. However, please note that her practice is not equipped to handle emergencies or crisis situations. If you or someone you know is in immediate need of help, please go to your nearest emergency room, contact local crisis services, or call 911.

For non-urgent questions or administrative needs, feel free to reach out to the office manager, Jocelyn Garcia, at admin@wfpsychiatry.com—she’ll be happy to assist you.
